The personal shock of rehearsing with Jack Daniels Band in 2009 had obviously receded sufficiently to allow John Ruddick to return the trumpet section for a welcome guest appearance on the 24 October. As always we received a consumate musical performance from his instrument with polite pertinent comments on general aspects to improve band section interpretation in the placing of phrasing and observing dynamics. We do try!

Hopefully it won't be too long before we can persuade him again that a Monday evening in Astwood Bank is a worthwhile night out.
